In 1994, Mark Noll published a seminal volume entitled The Scandal of the Evangelical Mind. The book was an indictment of the failure of evangelicals to be good stewards of the life of the mind.
Noll is currently working on a new volume that would be a positive statement regarding the resources available in historic Christianity for developing a Christian mind. The three lectures of this conference will focus on these resources:
1) Jesus Christ and the Life of the Mind--Perspective
2) Jesus Christ and the Life of the Mind--Principles
3) Jesus Christ and the Life of the Mind--Practices
